Xuzhou subway project
Xuzhou Metro, an urban rail transit system serving the city of Xuzhou in China’s Jiangsu Province, is the fifth city in the province to open a subway system. Its first line opened for trial operation on September 28, 2019. [1] 。
As of October 2022, Xuzhou Metro has three lines in operation, namely Xuzhou Metro Line 1, Xuzhou Metro Line 2 and Xuzhou Metro Line 3. The total length of the line is 63.7 kilometers and there are 54 stations (transfer stations are repeated). [48] [50] , of which transfer station 3 [2] [35] . As of July 2022, there are 3 subway lines under construction in Xuzhou, namely the second phase of Xuzhou Metro Line 3, the first phase of Xuzhou Metro Line 4 and the first phase of Xuzhou Metro Line 6, with a total length of 54.7 km. [43] On January 20, 2020, the National Development and Reform Commission approved the second phase construction plan of Xuzhou subway. [5] . The third phase of the Xuzhou subway network revision a total of 14 lines, including eight rail lines, six city lines, with a total length of 574.8 km
